The winery "Ktima Chatzigeorgiou" is Karpassi on the Greek island Limnos in the eastern Aegean and Ouzo . In 1998 the company was taken over by Petros, the umlegte focus on wine production and has invested in new buildings.

The new winery was commissioned in 2007, a restaurant and a hostel are connected.

Even son Themistoklis (production and marketing), daughter Polixeni (after her oenology in Bordeaux and a two-year tenure at Chateau Margaux responsible for the wine cellar) and son Leonidas (vineyard care and advice to the contract growers) are in active operation.

The product range includes three dry OPAP whites "Limnia Gi", "Limnios Ambelourgos" and the single vineyard wine "Lagopati" (all sorted from Muscat of Alexandria), and two sweet OPE wines (Vin naturellement doux) the manner of a Liastos from dried grapes, and some table wines. In the production of sweet wines, the fermentation is interrupted and a part as "Moschatos Limnou" bottled. The rest is aged 5-6 year old oak barrels of 500 liters and will be marketed as "Ifaistou Gnossi". Each year about 280,000 bottles of wine are produced.
