Greek National day

The two biggest Greek national days  are taking place on March 25 and October 28.

On March 25,  the beginning of the Greek Revolution of 1821 for the Liberation of the country from the Ottoman Empire is marked.

On October 28, Greece celebrated the refusal to surrender to the Axis Alliance in 1940, during the Second World War. It is also known as the anniversary of “NO”. During both of those days, parades take place across the country by the pupils of the schools, the military departments as well as security departments
