Transportation by sea to Samos

The trip to and from Samos by ship, will take you about two to twenty four hours, depending on the port that you depart, as well as the  number of the islands that your ship is due to make stops.

 

Samos is connected throughout the year with:

The port of Piraeus (5 times per week and travel time 8 to 12 hours)

The port of Agios Kirikos (5 times per week and travel time 2 to 4 hours)

The port of Fourni (5 times per week and travel time 2 hours)

The port of Syros (4 times per week and travel time 7 hours)

The port of Chios (3 times per week and travel time 2 to 4 hours)

The port of Mytilene (1 time per week and travel time 7 hours)

The port of Thessaloniki (1 time per week and travel time 24 hours)

The port of Limnos  (1 time per week and travel time 15 hours)

 The port of  Kavala (1time per week and travel time 20 hours)

 

During the summer,  according to the timetable, there are ships that can transfer you to Mykonos, Kos, Rhodes, Patmos, Leros and Kalymnos.

Finally, there are boats that you can take in order to visit the small island of Samiopoula and Kusadasi, a city in the neighboring Turkey, where you can visit the ancient town of Ephesus.

Those are the currently valid routes, but we would advise you to check with your travel agent in case any changes may have occurred.

Air Transportation to Samos

Samos is connected by air throughout the year with the airports of Athens, Thessaloniki, Mytilene, Chios, Rhodes and Limnos.  During the summer months, you can find direct flights to other cities abroad, such as London, Amsterdam, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, Slovakia and all the Scandinavian countries.
