Gialiskari

Gialiskari is a picturesque village located in the western tip of the island of Ikaria. Above the cliffs that surround it, stands the imperious Favos Papas gazing at the endless Aegean Sea. The small square of the village and its picturesque harbor are filled with traditional cafes and small taverns. A few kilometers away, not far away from the settlement of Amalo, you will find the Monastery of Annunciation of Mafrianos, which houses a remarkable icon of Virgin Mary.
