Greek Labor Day
The Greek Labor Day, is also known in Greece as May Day, due to the fact that is annually celebrated on the 1st of May. It has its roots in the bloody uprising of workers in the U.S.A and especially in Chicago, in 1886. Nowadays, all Greeks come out in the countryside with friends and families and make garlands of flowers.
