Keros

The beach at Keros is recognizable by her continuous run of huge waves and the inundation of surfers.  Keros is located in the municipality of Moudros, hidden and protected by the gulf, just 2 km from the village of Kalliope.  The consisten winds that swirl in the area and the beach’s long seashore make it ideal for water sports, especially for wind surfing and kite flying; lessons are offered on site for both activities, and the shallow waters make learning easy and fun! 

The pine trees that closely line the sandy shore make for a beautiful and unique vista, creating the perfect spot for laying out on the beach to catch some rays, or to sip your coffee or favorite beverage at the beach bar.  At a very short distance from the shore, up on a hillside, you see campsites….another great option for nature lovers.
