Lithi
Lithi is a small picturesque village of 450 inhabitants. The name comes from the characteristic of Alithis Limenas ("True Port"), which was given, by many visitors, to the area. The inhabitants are mainly engaged in fishing and shipping.
Lithi is the hometown of Agios Nektarios, of the artist named Kefalas (“Head”) as well as of Andreas Syggros, whose house is still located in the village. Underneath the area is the remarkable cave of Lithi with its underground lakes and its rich decoration. It should be noted that the cave is still accessible to visitors.
We strongly suggest you to stay up until late to one of the many taverns of the town to enjoy the magnificent sunsets along with the delicious fresh seafood.
