Ta Lefka Female Agricultural Cooperative in Lesvos Seçki

The female cooperative «Ta Lefka» is located in Agra, a mountain farming village of Lesvos, counting 1100 residents with lots of youngsters among them.

The cooperative was created by 15 women, so-called women next door, who took the decision to creatively reclaim their free time and join forces so as to highlight the traditional products of Lesvos, contributing at the same time to their family income.

These women’s effort and passion has led to the creation of a place fully professionally equipped for the production of food and sweets, in which the cooperative is located. At the same place you will also find a showroom, where you can buy all kinds of the cooperative’s products.

Some of the cooperative’s products are:
•    “Diples” (folded yeast)
•    Jams
•    Conserves and oven baked sweets
•    Almond sweets
•    Almond and sesame pastels
•    Molasses
•    Cookies and rusks
•    Cakes and pastry
•    Beverages and sour cherry juice
•    Traditional oil cheese

You can also find the cooperative’s products, made with pure ingredients and without preservatives, but mainly with love, in selected stores in the island of Lesvos but also all over Greece.

The cooperative also undertakes catering services for weddings, baptisms and any social event providing you with handmade and traditional food and sweet.
