Akamatra

The settlement of Akamatra is located in the verdant valley of Mesaria, south of the village Evdilos. It is worth to take a tour in this small picturesque village, which is full of traditional houses and cafes and has a beautiful picturesque square with an old oak on it.

Southeast of Akamatra, you will find the overgrown area of Alamo, which is filled with tall trees, traditional watermills and there you will also find the famous Alamos Cavern. If are willing to drive a little farther, you should look for the imposing castle of Koskina, built during the 10th century. You will find near the settlement of Kosikia, standing on top of a hill.
