A beautiful and relaxed resort, Skala Eressos is on the southwestern side of the island of Lesvos.  A small and rustic village, it has been able to keep its charm whilst welcoming a diverse mix of visitors.  From greek families escaping the city heat in mid summer to alternative tourism interested in the spitual nature of Skala and its natural beauty, especially in the Spring and Early Summer.  The resort also attracts a lot of women and has become Europe's No 1 holiday location for women who love women.  Lesbian visitors are welcomed with open arms and many return year after year to soak up the sun and enjoy the vibrant women's scene.

 At the Aumkara Apartments we aim to provide the best value accommodation available in Skala Eressos and we do our best to ensure all guests can settle into their apartment as soon as possible. When you arrive you will be able to check in immediately and if your room is not ready you can leave your baggage with us while you wander off to explore or have something to eat.

Check in is after 12 noon but if your room is ready earlier you can check in immediately.  If you are arriving before or after our check in hours its no problem, just let us know and we will be there to welcome you.

We know what its like to arrive at your holiday accommodation after a long journey only to find that the first thing you have to do is go shopping!  Thats why we have introduced the Aumkara Welcome pack.  When you arrive you will find some basic essentials in your room and a Welcome folder with information on your apartment, Skala Eressos and the surrounding area, as well as details of services available locally.  So there is no need to rush to the store, just chill out, sit back and start to enjoy your holiday the Aumkara way!

The accommodation comprises of one 2 bedroom apartment, five 1 bedroom apartments and 3 double studios.   All have air-conditioning, kitchenettes, ensuite bathrooms with WC, wardrobes and dressing tables with mirrors. Apartments have hair dryers and all balconies have table and chairs. Most units have private balconies with sea views.  Studios and apartments are cleaned and tidied daily and towels and sheets are changed regularly.
