Daskalopetra beach

The historic village of Daskalopetra (in the Vrontado region, some 7 km from the capital city) has among its gems a small, yet beautiful beach.  The sun’s rays will shimmer brightly off the white, pebble sand and the crystalline waters, next to the very rock where Homer taught his epic poems. 

Preferred by the local residents, yet developed for tourism offering visitors plenty of choices for accommodations, dining and other amenities.  Take in the mesmerizing sunset from the adjacent, scenic harbor, while trying freshly-caught seafood specialties at one of the seaside tavernas.
