Easter in Fourni

Fourni is an island that has managed to keep alive its tradition, exactly like the other island of the Aegean Sea. This can be noticed not only through the locals’ daily lifestyle, but also through the celebrations and events that take place under special occasions and retain their traditional atmosphere. A typical example of this, is the burning of the pile and Judah, that have remained unchanged no matter the years that have passed as well as the Easter events.
