Vafios Traditional Taverna in Lesvos

The Vafios traditional taverna was the first established at the 1987 in the area and succeeded in making known the village Vafios as a gastronomical destination.

It is one of the few tavernas in Greece certified by the Greek National Tourist Organization with the “special emplem of quality” for the promotion of Greek cuisine, traditional food, reviving of unique local recipes, and the exclusive use of local ingredients and produse.

The taverna has its own gardens in order to grow its variety of produce that gives exceptional quality to its special local recipes.

It opens all year round.

During the summer season it is open every day all day and during the winter season it is open on weekends and holidays.
