Frantato

Frantato is a mountainous village, located in the center of the island, at an altitude of 500 meters. It is in an overgrown area full of trees and vineyards, from which the locals produce the famous wine called “Perimeritikos”, as well as old windmills. It is worth a visit, in order to admire the wonderful view from above.

Near the village of Frantato, you will find the small chapel of “Ypapanti” and the ancient Ranti forest with its centenarian oaks.
