Halkios

Halkios is 8 kilometers away from the city of Chios, near the mountain Korakari. This is an area with rich vegetation and many rural places. Here is grown a variety of citrus, olives, fruit vegetables as well as the famous and delicious beans of Halkios.


Visitors can admire the stone building of traditional architecture of Argenteios School as well as the beautiful church of Agia Skepi. What is more, in the village operates the Folk Art Museum of the area of Kampochora which presents traditional artifacts of the area.
