Ireon beach

Ireon village is an important archeological site on the island of Samos, and at the same time boasts one of the prettiest beaches (some 400 meters in length) around.  This pebble-beach is located some 8 km west of Pythagoras, nicely hidden in its own inlet. 

Surrounding Ireon Beach are numerous cafes, restaurants and places for accommodation.  Here you’ll have access to facilities as well as trying out some water sports, including snorkeling and diving into deep, rich seabeds.  For your transportation needs, you can make use of the local bus system.
