Лимнос Орнитология

•    The 3 most important wetlands on Limnos (and among those in the Mediterranean) are the Aliki, Chortarolimni and Asprolimni.  Combined, these three wetlands account for over 18,000 acres of land and have been declared Special Protection Areas by the EU’s Network NATURA 2000 program.  There you will find over 250 species of birds, many of which sit on the endangered species list.
