Ватуса

Vatousa is a village of great picturesqueness that is being well preserved. Remarkable monuments of the area are the two churches of “Taxiarchis” and “Kimiseos tis Theotokou”  as well as the “Gogos Mansion” where cultural center of the village and the Folklore Museum are housed.

Around Vatousa, there are three other smaller villages. Chidira, which is famous for its oil-cheese, Pterounta, where all the houses are built with blood-red stones, and Reuma, which has only ten residents.
