Agios Konstantinos
Agios Konstantos is a beautiful villageof 379 inhabitants, located by the sea, only eighteen kilometers away from the capital town of the island. It is built in an overgrown area with running water, surrounded by an emerald coast. The inhabitants are mainly engaged in tourism and agriculture (cultivation of vines, olive trees and vegetables).
The village is divided into the Upper and Lower Agios Konstantinos. Initially, people had settled in Upper Saint Constantine, a place away from the sea, but later on, houses had been built near the bay thus creating the Lower part of Agios Konstantinos. The village took its name after the temple that existed in the Upper part of Agios Konstantinos. Attractions of this village are the churches of Virgin Mary and the Birth of John the Baptist.
In Agios Konstantinos , you will find many traditional taverns, where you can enjoy delicious seafood and other local specialties. Also, there are a lot of hotel facilities in case you wish to stay there.
