Karavostamo

About five kilometers on the east of Evdilos, lies the gorgeous coastal village of Karavostamo. It is possible that you hear the locals call it as “Karavostasi”, due to the fact that earlier was just a small harbor where they used to leave their boats. Enjoy your swimming there and then sit at one of the traditional taverns of the picturesque harbor and enjoy delicious seafood.

Near the settlement there is a road, which if you follow, it will lead you to the pebble shore of Aris River with many traditional water mills. Over the village of Karavostamo,  stands the Epano village of Gerontas, which is full of cottages. There you can make a visit at the old “Kamini”, where the locals used to produce coal.
