Sweet Rose Petals



2 cups rose petals
2 cups sugar
1 glass water
½ cup lemon juice




    First we gather enough rose petals, well preserved, to fill 2 cups worth.
    In a pot, we add our rose petals and sugar. Begin rubbing the petals until they become moist and dampen the sugar.
    Add water and bring to a boil over medium heat.  As it becomes a syrup, we let it thicken.  When you think it has sufficiently turned into a liquid, we add the lemon juice.
    Once again, we bring it to a boil and then quickly remove from heat. Once cooled off, you are ready to pour it into a tupper container, sealed tight.  Your sweet rose petals are done!
